UPDATE: A tasting menu just won’t do these beers justice, so we’ve upped it to a full-on 4-course dinner!
We challenged Boxcar Head Chef Dorian Lemus to create a special 4-course meal with some beautiful Belgian-style beers from Unibroue, and wow...did he deliver! Just look at this menu:
SALAD COURSE
Watercress/ spinach Salad, lemony balsamic vinaigrette, orange segments, beets, sunflower seeds
PAIRING: Blanche De Chambly - Wit (5%)
APPETIZER COURSE
Pan-seared red drum w/ a sweet and salty sauce (teriyaki) over sweet gem lettuce. Garnished with tomato sesame seed, green onion, pepper flakes
PAIRING: La Fin Du Monde - Belgian Tripel (9%)
ENTREE COURSE
Smoked BBQ pork chop w/ potato mash & glazed asparagus
PAIRING: Maudite - Belgian Dubbel (8%)
DESSERT COURSE
Lemon tart with blackberry/Terrible glaze
PAIRING: Terrible - Belgian Quad (10.5%)
